Target group of service and eligibility for application
Macao SAR residents who are not yet eligible for the distribution of the Wealth Partaking Scheme 2025 can make a request for distribution to the Social Security Fund (FSS) from 18 June 2025 to 31 December 2028. The periods that applicants resided outside the Macao SAR within the relevant calendar year due to any of the reasons below are considered as the time that they resided in the Macao SAR. In this respect, the applicants are required to provide sufficient proof:
1. Attending tertiary education courses accredited by local competent authorities;
2. Hospitalisation;
3. Persons aged 65 or above residing in Chinese mainland;
4. Persons aged below 65 residing in Chinese mainland for health reasons, in particular, in need of ambulatory care, palliative therapy, rehabilitation services or care by family members;
5. Working outside the Macao SAR for an employer registered with the FSS;
6. Working outside the Macao SAR in order to bear the main living expenses of the spouse or persons of any degree of lineal consanguinity or affinity residing in the Macao SAR;
7. Public service duties, holding positions for serving the Macao SAR or performing other official duties;
8. Residing, working or attending tertiary or non-tertiary education courses accredited by local competent authorities in the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin;
9. Working in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area cities in Chinese mainland;
10. Humanitarian or other properly explained reasons.
Result of service
Applicants submit the request for distribution. After analysis and processing by FSS, if the request is accepted, FSS will exercise its competence to inform the entity responsible for distribution, and the distribution entity will notify the applicants in appropriate ways.
